His Glorious Devine Benevolence, The Leader is head of a group of Aliens from the planet Zurcon.

Unlike Humans that are carbon based the Zurconites are Nylon based. This is not a issue on their home planet as Zurcon has a very low gravity and therefore bone structures are not required and they can exist as pure fabric entities. Similar to Earth jelly fish.

The Zurconites have overcome this on Earth by absorbing humans as their temporary skeletons, this allows them to transverse earths atmosphere. The tiny humans are not harmed, and have no recollection of the absorption process.

The Leader at 48,000 cu ft is too large to absorb a human, and therefore the aliens have employed an intricate inflation technique of hot air balloon fans and burners to allow the leader to operate in the Earth atmosphere. Again humans assisting inflating the Leader have their memory wiped and no recollection of that activity.

The Leader upon arriving on Earth realised that his full name may intimidate humans, he therefore adopted the name Astro the alien as a more friendly alternative. Astro is accompanied by his alien squad whenever he appears. The purpose of the aliens visit is to learn more about humanity through a series
of cultural exchanges.
